She is of Hungarian, Italian and Ashkenazi Jewish descent.

Kate has three dogs: Doctor (an English Bulldog), Bella (a Neapolitan Mastiff) and Clara (a Pomeranian).

Kate’s parents gave her a year to make it as an actress. If she wasn’t acting by then, it was back to college or be cut off financially.

Kate is afraid of mirrors. She says that they freak her out.

She played for her high school football team but quit when her legs started to get ‘quite large’.
